DIVE SAVAII'S - PADI International Cleanup Day
All over the world PADI organizes an International Cleanup Day for the 16th September. Every year people volunteer to help clean up beaches, in-land areas and underwater. This year is our first year to participate. We were so happy to see so many volunteers willing to help on this cleanup day.
In total we had 48 volunteers. Together, we did a great job in cleaning up our designated area.
We managed to get everyone together at 7 o'clock in the morning, to conquer a piece of land that keeps getting used as a rubbish dump. Samoa in itself is a very clean country, so this piece of land was an eye-sore waiting to be cleaned.
In a matter of hours, we collected all the rubbish, recorded the needed information for PADI & left an area that looks not even close to what it did before.

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!
Keep putting your rubbish into the rubbish bins and keep our environment clean for all to enjoy now & in the future.
